Follow Your Own Path

I just wanted to post a little update, but also apologize at the same time. This past week has been just crazy for both Annastacia and myself. So first I wanted to say that I am so very grateful to have such a great partner, that she would still post on the blog while I was out of commission, even when she wasn't feeling well herself. You totally rock Annastacia!

Getting that out of the way, I feel as though we should kind of give a little background as to what exactly we both practice. But before I do, just let me say that there is absolutely no set way or specific rules that you should follow. Neither Annastacia, nor myself follow one specific path. We both consider ourselves Pagan, and we both consider ourselves Witches. I did post the Wiccan Rede on here previously. I did so, not because it is exactly what we follow or what we believe others should follow, but because it is a form of Paganism and we want to make sure you all are getting as much info as possible. In the months, and hopefully years to come it is our hope to give you all as much information as possible. If you all decide to follow certain deities or a set of rules, whatever, That's GREAT! Do whatever works and feels best for you.

Our hope is that for those of you who are reading, you will have what you need to at least get you started in a direction. But don't follow blindly. Even in the Pagan community you will come across a high-priest or priestess, or someone in a form of authority that feels it's either their way or no way. I'm sorry, but that doesn't work for me. And if it doesn't work for you, then let them know. Just be sure to do it in a loving, non judgmental manner. After all, you will most likely see these people in the future if they are a part of your community. Try not to burn any bridges if you can help it.

All in all, what we are ultimately trying to accomplish is a sense of community. There are so many of us out there who would love to have a place to go, or a group to get involved in. We are starting to do that now. NO, we are not starting a coven, and no there are no "requirements". We just want people to be able to come together and be able to talk about and discuss what it's like to be Pagan. Reach out to your Pagan neighbors. Maybe do study group or book club. The world is at our fingertips!

If you are in the Carson Valley or surrounding areas and you would like to get together, please let us know. You can email us at www.thewhiteravengirls@gmail.com.
We are hoping to get something going very soon. And if you are not in the area, but would love to continue to get updates, please follow our blog and be sure to share it with those who you think would enjoy it!
And remember, What works for one, might not work for another. Follow your own path, listen to your inner voice, and BE that person you know deep inside that you truly are!

Blessed Be! )O(

    1. Thank you! I wish everyone would just have the courage to be themselves and not what they think they should be, or what other people want or expect them to be.
